Abstract
This working paper analyzes the results of the first survey on the emergency remote work experience carried out in Inapp from March 2020 to March 2021. There was no previous experience of this working pattern, despite the numerous activities easily achievable in this modality. The survey was conceived and carried out during the development of the first POLA, the Organizational Plan for Agile Work, now merged into the Integrated Plan of activities and organization. Given the objective of the survey to detect potential, criticalities and lessons learned during the first ‘agile’, albeit emergency, experience, at a methodological view, the authors proceeded to structure it, using the three areas of analysis that characterize the enabling conditions to agile work according to the POLA guidelines: organizational health, professional health, digital health, plus a fourth area dedicated to the quality of working life. The results show an overall positive evaluation by the staff, who managed well and appreciated more flexibility and autonomy working, in addition, to save time when travelling and improving work-life balance levels. Among the aspects to be more monitored figure digital infrastructures and the risks associated with loosening the boundaries between work and private life.
